Dr. Manak Lal Chourdia is a highly experienced physician specializing in the diagnosis and management of thyroid disorders. Dr. Chourdia completed his M.B.B.S. from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, in 1973 and obtained his D.R.M. from Tata Hospital, Bombay University, in 1979. To further enhance his expertise in thyroid diseases, he completed a Fellowship in Thyroid Diseases from the University of Pennsylvania, USA, in 2006.
Since establishing his specialized Thyroid Clinic in 2006, Dr. Chourdia has successfully treated thousands of patients suffering from Hypothyroidism, Hyperthyroidism, Hashimoto’s Disease, Thyroiditis, Thyroid Disorders in Pregnancy, and Thyroid Nodules.
Throughout his distinguished career, he has served at the 900-bed Bokaro General Hospital, Bokaro Steel Plant, and has held key positions including Advisor to the Nuclear Medicine Department at Medicant Hospital, Bokaro, and Senior Consultant at WellMark Hospital, Bokaro. He currently runs his dedicated Thyroid Clinic at Laxmi Market, Sector 4, Bokaro Steel City.
Dr. Chourdia is an active member of several prestigious medical organizations, including the Indian Thyroid Society, Society of Nuclear Medicine, India, Cardiology Society of Nuclear Medicine, and the Endocrine Society of India.
